Whatever I am today its because of my mama[mother] and Baba[father]. Baba is a sweetheart, whatever I have wished he has always fulfilled them. To keep the story short he has mostly pampered and spoiled me. Had it not been because of my mother's disciplinarian ways , I cannot imagine myself where I am today. My class-mates know me for my academic achievements. Rarely any one will believe that I was a fickle minded girl and it was always my moods that dictated me. I remember once before a science exam[second terminal exams std III ] , she had assigned some chapters to prepare. Instead of doing that I happily engaged myself in the the adventure world of comics. As customary the day before the exam, she handed me a question paper to solve. It was a Sunday which means lots of kid's soaps and lots of fun. After attempting a few questions unable to control my urge for T.V , I joined others before the T.V and lied that the paper is completed. The P.O.A[ plan of action] being that later I will finish it before my mom asks me . But I got busy playing with Sona[sister] and didn't get time to solve the papers. After finishing her day's work in the evening when she inquired about my answer sheet, I timidly answered "haven't completed it yet". She was very angry and made me solve the paper then and there before her. The scores were very poor . she was very upset. Until late at night, she sat near me and made me go through the book. Then I used to despise her ways and hated that she was not as considerate as Baba. But thank you mom for being the way you are. She had made me realise what is the importance of time and discipline in life.These are the two qualities that thrust us high in life. Thank you mom for being patient with me
